Belgian Photographer Gert Jochems goes places you don’t want to be.
And then he takes pictures of those places.
For his latest series, he contacted Flemish people posting sex ads and photographed them in their own environment. Often the environment became more important than the actual person (see tiger bed spread above). Check him out at the Museum of Photography in Antwerp until January 2013. Or why not buy a print on his site, where you’ll also find the mesmerising bleakness of DAMPREMY, a visual portrait of a small town near Charlerloi.
