Joke of the day:
Q: What do you get if you cross a French design company with an American producer who loves asses that look like a loaf of bread?
A: A chair.
This is Pharrell Williams’ new project: “The Perspective Chair”, a collaboration with Domeau & Pérès.
According to Mr. P, it represents ‘the connection between men and women’. If you ask me, it looks like the “hands on the table, on your tippy toes” scene from R. Kelly’s “Sex in the Kitchen” song, only in chair-form.
If you want a piece of this action, you’ll have to travel to Paris. The chair will be on display at the rather fantastic Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery starting October 21st. Only 4 copies will be available for purchase.
