When I was little & had no grasp on the concept of work ethics I told my moms I wanted to shop for a living.

Then I wanted to be a stylist. But I only wanted to style myself.

Then I wanted to work for MTV. Make cool shows for kids like me…

Then Walter Van Beirendonck became my idol and when I did my internship at MTV London in 1962, his one-sleeved designs became my uniform.

Funny how things work out.
