Wakey wakey. New Lightning Bolt!
Their new album, “Earthly Delights”, 5 years in the making, will finally be released in October.
The first single off of this mythical beast is called “Colossus” and, shockingly, it’s a real song with a riff and almost audible lyrics and stuff. Some people might say this is a step down from the general mayhem this band usually produces. These people need to shut their pieholes.
If you like loud stuff and don’t like this, you might be broken.

Seeing Lightning Bolt live last year was one of the most memorable (and earsplitting) experiences of my life. I’m not even sure if you could call it music. It was pure noise and adrenaline fired at a packed crowd, many of whom were travelling along with the band. Some people call their fan base a cult, but I say these dudes were far too relaxed after the usual sonic brainwashing to be lumped in with over-eager fans.
