I had forgotten all about Blood Red Shoes ever since I raved about them about a year ago on our old site. But then I saw this new video for their upcoming single ‘I Wish I Was Someone Better’ and singer Laura-Mary (girls with two first names are always the cutest in my book) uses her guitar like a machine-gun and I was like, ‘shiiit’ and the neighbour’s cat sneezed on the stairwell and it sounded like ‘woot!’ and the sun broke through the clouds and all was well again.
