Two more weeks until the release of the much anticipated LOVE magazine.

After the gin & tea party (Giles looked way buff) Katie threw a couple of months ago, now it’s time for Colette to celebrate the launch with a LOVEly window.

Oh, Giles…

For those who don’t know, the girl in the middle has been my imaginary mentor for many years. 

I never take any advice on what’s supposed to be good or bad from anyone besides 2 people from my inner circle.

But on the other tip, Katie Grand has always been my editor-in-chief (Carine Roitfeld, Anna Wintour & André Leon Talley are my fairy godmothers). I worked for a couple of fashion mags and whenever I made my initial pitch, I always thought: “What do I like?”  And then: “What would  Katie like?”

So cue : a couple of years ago.

“We need to do Beth Ditto!” I thought, and a couple of days later as if by magic her label contacted me for an interview.

The editor-in-chief refused. This is not fashion. This is not good. This is not for us.

And so now, Beth Ditto is gracing the first cover of the only magazine that’s going to matter come February 19th. (not true, because you can already get your kicks here.)

So all you haters, you can thoroughly kiss my ass.

No wait. Go and kiss Beth’s. It’s the right kind of thick.

Last days of magic…

The final issue of POP edited by Katie Grand is out.

I cried a bit while reading her last letter.

I’ll tell you why you suck venereal diseased fashion dick if you don’t buy, borrow or steal this issue.

You look better without that monkey on your back.

I can’t bear to see you leave.

Giles chose Agyness Deyn as the face for his third stint for New Look. His best friend & superstylist Katie Grand will be taking pictures. No images yet, but we’re told that a couple of dresses and a high-waisted denim skirt will be included in the collection.

So word around town is that Katie already resigned from the creative director gig at Mulberry’s… She did put in some work curating the new GAP (RED) collection. The Proenza Schouler and Giles shirts will set you back about $40, the bag will be$ 175.

On sale in Gap’s London and Paris flagship stores, as well as Colette, Paris, and Dover Street Market on Dec. 1.

The September issue of ELLE magazine is packed with KNOTORYUS-stuff.

• I got to big up the Brit Pack : Giles Deacon, Henry Holland, Gareth Pugh & the most promising of them all Christopher Kane.

• I’m blabbing about the coolest online shops that smell like Trump, but if you look closer you’ll be chillin’ on a private beach in Dubai without having to save up front (well, almost).

• Baloji’s album will be in stores soon, so an interview was due.

• Pat McGrath! Secret Empress of the fashion world. I was honoured that I got to do a feature on her.

• And we put together a big R&R-dossier that features Pete & Kate for Cavalli, Patrick Wolf & Agyness Deyn for Burberry and -my absolute favorite- Cat Power for Chanel.
