From what I can tell, it’s the first time their new lips-logo is featured on a pair of sneakers. (The Reebok & Nike collabs featured the “old” MOB lips).

Leah McSweeney gets kicked out of her building apparently after her co-op googled her. How about it being because a coffee table book got published that contains nice pictures of her loft, so now Mr landlord smells more money.

I don’t know if it’s because of the fact that I’ve been up and working since 5.30 am and I’m in a foul mood (it’ll blow over) or if I’m just plain right. But how fucking weird and stupid is this Hipster Grifter?

If you haven’t heard. This chick is a downright internet sensation. She’s a former Vice employee (receptionist or something like that) that skeemed her way into dumb dudes’ pants, hearts and wallets.

She faked abortions (not sure how you do that and I don’t think I want to know) and cancer on numerous occasions and she was wanted for 5 cases of fraud. She’s in jail now.

Now I’m not hating on the internet sensation part. It’s an ugly world and if employers are too lazy to google you and guys are willing to believe you threw up and flushed one of their spawn (I’m guessing), by all means Kari Ferrell (Will, is this your sister? Are you in on this?) : keep doing your thing.

What I don’t get is smart women à la Leah McSweeney endorsing this chick and staging an entire (and really sucky) photoshoot.

Ugh, I gotta stop now. I hate hating on this site.

MOB CEO Leah McSweeney (I think you’re allowed to call yourself a CEO when your offices are situated inside the  Empire State Building)  and her new designer Maru stepped it up…

A couple of months ago I wore a dress to one of my friends’ wedding.

Hadn’t done that in 10 years, but it felt good.

So I shall repeat.

I love how they found a model that looks like Julianne Moore and Lindsey Lohan’s love child and then accessorized her Sam Ronson stylee.

Then, Glam*it had me talking about how surfing is pretty great should you wanna funk up your tits & ass game.

Which is pretty funny since I’m our world’s stupidest surfer. That’s no slang. When it comes to surfing I’m like the Gump. I know it’s purrrretty, but I just don’t get it. And I just can’t. (My mom sent me to camps, but when I turned fifteen Neptunus was like enough is enough dudes. Let’s give the fish a rest. And for fuck’s sake stop talking trash to my friend the wind. )

I do understand the surfer bod, though. So, I still wrote a pretty dope article + gave ‘em a surfPod to enjoy.

One of my favourite things this month! I was hired to write a bunch of scenarios for a new travel show. National TV. Major fun. Mentors are good for you, kids. Honor ‘em. Thank you Monsieur Luc Van Laer for the hook-up.

Then we produced the MAGNUM blog. This is like a major Pax Media. It’s like Marie-Claire doing stuff with ELLE doing stuff with VOGUE doing stuff with Jalouse. Loving it! Thank you, sweet co-bloggers. Troopers for real!

This is such a small part of our May situation, so LGF is going to do another update.

Here at KNOTORYUS we were the first to talk about Uffie being the face of the MOB S/S 08 campaign. The collection was released yesterday and I especially like the jackets… (the entire collection after the jump) The woman in the mugshot is Leah McSweeney herself (read the story here), and not Lorena Bobbit as some blogs are suggesting.
