It was a brilliant, sunny day in Brussels today. Somewhere inside my head, a tiny man awoke from wintry slumber, stretched himself with a happy grin and shouted “SHABBA!”.

(Don’t worry, I never let that man out in public.)

I was going to post the new N.A.S.A. “Gifted” video feat. Kanye West, Lykke Li and Santigold. But then my hands started shaking from triangle/laser/huddle pics/dayglow overdose and I had to switch that shit stuff off. So I’m posting the new Deerhoof video instead. It’s about two people who fall in love and like to eat fruit while fighting evil knights and monsters (I think). Not your biggest “google trend” words or “twitter buzzwords”, I know. But I like it. Plus, it’s all in 8-bit graphics so it’s safe to watch all the way until the end without suffering from nasty hipster retro withdrawal.

Yesterday evening I had the honour of talking to tAz Arnold.

I am dead serious when I say  that he will become one of the best high end designers in the world.

I am going to do my best to get through writing this post without using the words tacky, ugly and yuck.

H&M is displaying a pretty on-point sense of humour by charging 299 dollars for the  gown shown above, though.

And don’t get me wrong. I love H&M. For instance: today I’m wearing MTTM jeans, Cobrasnake Tee, Prada black patent leather sneakers & H&M plaid shirt. See!?

Well, I shouldn’t say finally.  It’s like expecting your favourite writer to churn out one novel per year…

If you’ve never heard from CFCF before, I won’t blame you or arrogantly flip my cowlick at you. I didn’t know him either. But their new video for “You Hear Colours” makes me want to find out more. It also reminds me that I should post a running mixtape soon(-ish).
