I was floating around on an inflatable lobster in Egypt when the Kanye West x Spike Jonze short film ‘Once We Were a Fairytale’ dropped. But this little doozy is the perfect excuse to lay it on you anyway as the final post before the weekend hits.

The new Lil’ Wayne wasn’t supposed to drop until this weekend, but there you go. Some people are sayin’ there’s going to be 8 extra tracks leaked later this week, mixed by DJ drama. We’ll see. Meanwhile, Wayne raps over “D.O.A.”, “Make Her Say”, “Wasted” and every other beat you wanted him on.

Florence & The Machine covers 90′s Jesus-lovin’ Euro Pop anthem by Candi Statton and the XX turn the the whole thing into an intense breakbeat-driven gem of a remix. Win.
