3 Beautiful Mixes That Transcend Your Usual Playlist

There is so much beauty out there, just waiting for you to discover it. These are 3 fantastic mixes that transcend the usual streaming playlists and top/trending/popular names, choosing instead to follow a different path. One of them isn't even a mix, really. All of them have a unique beauty to them, adding something to your day/life that no one else can.

First off, there's Belgium's own wayward nightlife child, Nosedrip, who dropped a 'Japan Only' mix for Rubber that is pure quality from the first melancholy notes to the last.

Number three on our list: Steve Reich's Different Trains with London Contemporary Orchestra. This is the one that isn't even a mix, really. It was, however, played and recorded for global nightlife juggernaut Boiler Room, and it's just such a mind-altering piece of music that it deserves your attention. Violins sound like steel wheels turning, vocal samples burst out like steam jets and vocal samples repeat and repeat and get chopped up between the rails. If you listen long enough, this piece will take you on a journey you weren't expecting, across time, towards the stories of people that deserve to be heard, especially in these trying times.
