Designers Against Aids & Essentiel Collaborate For Youth HIV/Aids Awareness
Antwerp label Essentiel has teamed up with non-profit Designers Against Aids for a new collection benefiting HIV/AIDS youth awareness and it looks lit.
The latest in DAA’s longstanding series of high-profile collaborations, the promo clip shot at Antwerp Tower features voguing and serving looks plus body by Belgium’s finest like designer and artist AJ OMO, prolific dancer and choreographer J. Anane, drag artist Zelda Von Trapp and more.
The video shows off some of the collection’s print-laden looks and I can’t wait to get extra on the dance floor in the looks AJ’s killing it in. Inviting everyone to join the drag, club kid and ball culture-inspired #houseofessentiel movement, Essentiel will donate part of the collection’s proceeds to Designers Against Aids, who have raised millions over the years with their fashion campaigns.
The collection ranges from smoke print body con dresses and leggings, slogan print tees to sheer polka dot looks and Mongolian lambswool jumpers.
