A First Look At UNIQLO x J.W. Anderson AW17 (Every Single Piece)
British designer Jonathan Anderson is on a ramp-up to creating a personal megabrand and his previously teased collaboration with UNIQLO is sure to solidify that ambition. J.W. for all! The 33-piece AW17 collab collection aims to blend traditional British heritage materials with UNIQLO trademark LifeWear fabrics and technology. It will contain pieces for men and women and drop at UNIQLO stores and online from Wednesday September 20.
A first look reveals the signature graphic aesthetic of Anderson; the prime colour stripe patterns and tartans are unmistakable. The collection includes double-breasted, plaid-lined trenches, Fair Isle jumpers, a range of down jackets, shirts, and padded tote bags and backpacks, stoles and bright knits, blouses with ruffle accents and skirts. A few items feature a faux leather patch brandishing the J.W. anchor logo. The silhouettes combined with UNIQLO technology makes this a thoroughly modern mix for the upcoming season. Nobody will be not noticing you in these wintery streets swinging your technicolour scarf left to right.
