Here's The Best Of VH1's Hip Hop Honors : 90's Game Changers

Last night saw another edition of VH1's Hip Hop Honors and this time the show was dedicated to '90's Game Changers'.

Here are the most important things you need to know:

The great Missy 'Misdemeanor' Elliott opened the show recreating her "She's a Bitch" video as a tribute to director Hype Williams and of course her own damn self.

Her make-up took 7 hours to put on and 2 and a half to take off. She spent 8 seconds under water in the beginning of the performance and she thanked super stylist June Ambrose for the iconic outfit I too, want to wear someday soon.

Teyana Taylor, who should really be a default performing artist on any awards or tribute (or fashion tbh) show, came out to make us reminisce about all our favourite 90s dance moves. I only realised afterwards that the lower left part of her overalls wasn't some cool customisation, but she was wearing an actual cast and boot.

TT is the GOAT.

Warren G is aging gracefully looking like one of your good Uncs.

Remy Ma is working a coat by Royal Academy of Arts - Antwerp Fashion Department's own JunJie Yang and we are all so proud.

My favourite performance of the night was the legendary Mariah Carey who does not care about continuity or what else you might think of her.

The elusive chanteuse used a stunt double to make it seem like she was rappelling down a building (what a stage/set btw) only having to be carefully helped walking up three steps a smooth five seconds later.

She summoned a golden jetski AND chopper, MA$E came out doing his signature Bad Boy-chassé  and of course MC was presented with an award STRAIGHT after singing her last note.
