Here's a Closer Look at YOON's Debut Dior Men Jewellery

Yoon Ahn, of AMBUSH® fame, is ushering Dior into a new era with aplomb, creating covetable jewellery cross-pollinating (there are big bee pieces after all) collector's items with the house's history and a forward vision. Working alongside Kim Jones as the house's design director for Dior Men jewellery (no longer officially 'Dior Homme'), Yoon has granted us a closer look at the SS19 pieces first seen on the Paris runway about a month ago.

Particular standouts are the silver KAWS collaborative BFF mini statuette (referencing the giant runway specimen constructed of 70,000 flowers) and logo signet rings (new CD hardware was designed in tandem with Matthew Williams), the stackable rainbow gem bracelets, bee pins and keyrings, safety pin earpieces, bike chains, a wild plush toy pendant and mineral stone brooches. With AMBUSH® being so deeply steeped in pop art influences, it's a nice reference to see YOON blowing up the Dior logo font for some pieces - harking back to the POW! and BOOM! we know from our fave pop artworks.
