Watch Neneh Cherry's beautiful "Kong"
Who's looking good today? Who's looking good in every way? Neneh Cherry, that's who. (That was a Buffalo Stance reference by the way and if you didn't get it you should get your life in order right now and spend the next 4 minutes and 20 seconds catching up on greatness.) After breaking an 18-year dry-spell with the (underrated IMHO) 2014 release 'Blank Project', a new album might already be underway for 2018. She already teased the new "Shotgun Shack" on her live shows and now there's a gorgeous new video and a deep, soulful song called "Kong" with a fantastic Mezzanine-style beat by Four Tet & 3D. You better watch (don't mess with me).

Lyrics:
love forsaken / risk worth taking / spearmint flavours all my pallet shutters / i’m a member of shattered allusions & am i needless to say / but love is big & every land every nation seeks its friends in France & Italy & all across the 7 seas / & Goddam guns & guts & history & bitter love still put a put a hole in me / bite my head off still my World will always be a little risk worth taking / bite my hand off still my World will always be another risk worth taking / gotta step out a limb swallow my pride surrender & not give myself away / little measures all the time / become part of you nothing new still have full for absolutions in my day there’s no solutions / & love is big & every land every nation seeks its friends in France & Italy & all across the 7 seas / & Goddam guns & guts & history & bitter love still put a put a hole in me / bite my head off still my World will always be a little risk worth taking / bite my hand off still my World will always be another risk worth taking
