Listen to Thom Yorke Waltz over Mortality in "Suspirium"
On this sparse, fluttering waltz - taken from the soundtrack of Luca Guadagnino's 'Suspiria' - Thom Yorke is accompanied only by a piano and a flute. The opening lines "This is a waltz thinking about our bodies. What they mean for our salvation." set the mood, linking the movie's ballet setting and horror genre to broader themes of mortality and finding meaning in the finite.
The full soundtrack will feature no less than 25 new Thom Yorke compositions and will be released as a double vinyl via XL Recordings.
