MIMA Presents 2019 Group Exhibition ‘Dream Box’

Blindfolds off for ‘Dream Box’, the newest exhibition by the good folks over at Brussels contemporary art museum MIMA. Opening Friday February 1, the show is set to make a splash as it aims to offer a new exploration of intuitive thought. Optical illusions, trompe-l-oeil, visual trickery and magic slights of hand have been a part of art and human expression since the beginning of time and ‘Dream Box’ now wants you to fully surrender to your senses and imagination.

The ‘Dream Box’ road map was laid out by a group of artists consisting of much-loved Belgian art duo Hell’O, ultradynamist Argentinian-Spanish creator Felipe Pantone, Brussels graphic designer and illustrator Elzo Durt, anonymous Spanish muralist and street artist Escif and art collective Gogolplex. Visitors are encouraged to explore the boundaries of their senses and the power of their imagination while also questioning human rational thinking. A visit to MIMA is always a trip and this is looking fascinating already. (Be sure to allot some extra time to grab a slice of the delicious pizza at the MIMA restaurant)
