On the longer, Rick Rubin-produced original version of this track on ‘The Book Of Traps and Lessons’, there are no beats and the lyrics snake upwards more slowly, but the “Streatham Version” nails the hopeful, searching aspects of this small miracle in a more radio-friendly way. The video is a sweet, simple series of illustrative charcoal drawings by Natalya Lobanova. Some people might call this one the song of the year and I’m not inclined to disagree.
