The new Pharmakon ‘Devour’ record was recorded as a live performance in the studio. I’ve been to a Pharmakon performance once, when she was opening for The Swans, and she totally ripped that stage apart with frantic screaming, beating oddly-shaped self-made instruments, giving herself up to what can only be described as total physical abandon.
