Tricky has a knack for staying ahead, mostly by creating his own lane. Even though he’s no longer in everyone’s end-of-year list, you can go back to any record he’s released in the past and discover pure gems that were unappreciated at the time. His newest album “Fall to Pieces” is about to drop later in the year and after the devastating “When You Go” and raw “Hate This Pain” , there’s a lighter beat underneath “Fall Please”, but the lyrics remain ink-stained with an aching hope for redemption.
