Temporarily Replace Your Body With the Shlohmo 'Heaven INC.' Video

According to author Siri Hustvedt (the only Siri I trust), looking at a work of art can be cathartic because we can identify with the protagonist. This identification is only possible because we are largely unaware of our own body and we’re basically temporarily replacing the idea of our body with the idea of being the character on screen. In this case, by watching the new video for “Heaven Inc.” by Shlohmo, you can temporarily replace the idea of yourself by the on-screen idea of a confused loner in corpse face, stumbling trough life before a catastrophic event wipes out the world as he knows it and he is forced to make his way through a burning landscape while his brain keeps firing off random memories of happiness and trauma. Relatable!

Creative Direction - Actual Objects

The black metal corpse paint character made its first appearance in the “Looking at Plants” video earlier in the year.
