KAP BAMBINO: VIVE LA REVOLUTION!
While the Ed Rec hype is slowly eating itself, (love the new Busy P track, though...) Paris is still burning with hot new bands. Kap Bambino has been on my radar since their first 12" slabs of utter Atari destruction came out in 2007 (thanks for the tip, Grrr), and now they've gone and released the best-looking live video I've seen in ages. I'm not going to try to describe their sound. The lovely people at "Cobain in a Coma" (check their podcast, you'll thank me for it) have done a good job of that already:
"I like Kap Bambino loud and I like how they sound like a whiny, know-it-all teen in an industrial mosh-pit. If a cool cheerleader with black nail polish was giving her stoned skater boyfriend a blowjob while her mom pounded on her door and yelled at her to turn off that racket, it would be cool if this were the music blasting out of her Hello Kitty speakers."
Here here. Check the new video for "Save" after the jump.
