THE GIRL IS OURS
So yesterday the little one came home from a whole day of kindergarten grinding. We talked, did a puzzle, watched 1 ep. of Dora..
After a while I said: "Babe, I'm going to make dinner. So you need to play by yourself, ok? "
Now, she's never been a true fan of the entertaining yourself thing. So maybe she was trying to get some attention. But when she yelled:" Mom! I drew this for you!!" I did my, "Ooooooooooooooh (every good parent/concert reviewerattheafterparty knows that this shit buys you a lot of time) thing.
But what is there to say when a 4 year old goes tadaaaah over this?
To be fair. She drew the weird genius thing first. And after I called LGF and we were both standing there staring at this thing, she kinda got scared and went: "look, I can do it like this as well!" and that's when she drew the normal kiddie crap we all love.
We're proud and really freaked out at the same time.
But then of course I spoiled it because I dated the whole thing.
Buck Danny anyone?
