GIG OF THE YEAR – B,B-A

Okay, we’ve seen a couple of cool things this year, …

But Baloji‘s concert at Botanique last Friday topped it all for me. We got to hear some of the greatest rapping, most beautiful-est gospel, real-est blues and most of all: we got to see one of the fiercest MC’s in the game (really, bring your boys) transforming a very complex & layered album into a stage performance (live band of course) that brought the house down.
