Taraji P. Henson, fictional mother to Lyons and old dudes aging backwards into babies alike, is about to drop a M.A.C. Cosmetics collection and it’s evoking bountiful cries of ‘slay mom omg i’m bald’ already. Deservedly.
Available online September 6th and in stores September 8th, the collection will allow you to create your own Taraji nude lip, ‘noir eye’ and no-flaws-detected skin. The line of six products will include things like a ‘Haute And Naughty Too’ mascara and ‘Highlight The Truth’ (you better speak on it, T!) highlighter. Mental note: need to get to a point in life where M.A.C. hits me up for a collection, you know I wouldn’t hold back on the names. (“Deadt-Scalpedt-The-Girls-Are-Gaggedt” #MACImmi brow pencils anyone?)

With this, more Cookie on the horizon (September 21st, Empire season 3) and the promising feature film ‘Hidden Figures’ about the African-American female NASA scientist pioneers that your history books conveniently glossed over (starring queen Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe) hitting theatres next year, things just keep coming up Henson.
Be sure to get in line for #MACTaraji come September, because this will likely produce another #RiRiWoo situation. And until then?
Taraji P. Henson for M.A.C. will be launched on maccosmetics.com on September 6th (North America) and internationally to select markets in September.
