In 2025, Bozar is hosting Belgian artist Berlinde De Bruyckere’s first major solo show. Her art dives deep into the human experience, blending Christian iconography, mythology, Flemish masters and cultural stories with modern-day themes of violence, suffering, beauty & hope. Explore 25 years of work alongside pieces from kindred artists like Lucas Cranach the Elder, Peter Buggenhout, Patti Smith & Pier Paolo Pasolini. Until August 31 2025.
‘Past Disquiet’ is a documentary & archival expo based on over a decade-long research by curators Kristine Khouri & Rasha Salti on the ‘78 International Art Exhibition for Palestine. The expo showcases solidarity movements like ‘Artists Against Apartheid’ & ‘Art for the People of Nicaragua’, spotlighting a barely documented story of politically engaged artists & a counter-history of art practice & political mobilisation. Until May 25 2025.
