Being backstage at a fashion show, we often feel more priviliged than in the front row, because you feel the people behind the creations. It's not just about the hustle to get everything out on time (where most backstage stuff tends to get bogged down)... it's the sense of poetry and art that's infused into the room. Being backstage at a graduation show, you have a heightened sense of being in a moment. It's hard to get this across in backstage photography, so I'm stoked to see our own Tim Peters captured that moment, weighing it down with just enough beauty not to let it float away.
