See, what had happened was : I paid a visit to DVS in Antwerp last weekend. If you didn't know yet, DVS is the store that Antwerp 6 OG Dirk Van Saene opened to provide a safe place for his and his partner Walter Van Beirendonck's collections (ao Véronique Branquinho, Bernhard Willhelm and Niels Peeraer's designs are also being sold there) and I knew I was bound to fall in love with some major pieces.
What I wasn't prepared for was seeing an entire rack of Raf Simons/Sterling Ruby garments. Insanely beautiful. I know most of y'all have seen the images, but seriously : you have to go check it out for real.
And you have no excuse not to, because last night the Raf Simons /Willy Vanderperre (Raf's go-to visual artist/photographer/director)/Charlotte Arts (Artist and Raf's Commercial Director) Pop Up Store opened. Amenra played, we were told Raf was wearing shorts because we haven't had a life since the beginning of this year.
