We all worry. But we can all act, too. Belgian vegan footwear label Rombaut, launched by Mats Rombaut in 2013 and steadily rising to the top of the KNOTORYUS favourites list ever since, will present their AW17 collection as a charity boxing match during Paris Fashion Week on January 20th. All donations collected through guests, social media and sponsors during the fashion match will benefit the KARAM Foundation who are providing effective aid for Syrians under siege in Eastern Aleppo. That’s happening this Friday, but you can already help out today. With an online fundraiser that’s currently looking to hit a $2000 goal, everyone who donates at least €15 will be eligible to win 1 pair of the 3 Rombaut designs that will be given away at random, with 10 pairs available in total.

Mats Rombaut aims to turn us all from worriers into warriors for a change and the entire Rombaut concept is built upon being a humanist, ecologically responsible and progressive brand vying for a more equitable future. The non-profit KARAM Foundation provides emergency aid (heaters, blankets, food and medicine for example) to Syrian families but also sustainable and long-term support, community-driven aid, education and therapy for Syrian refugee youth.
