Seeing things: art, puppets behaving badly, Kanye loves Kanye, explosions, more art, skateboarding, hardcore, hooters and a buddha parable to boot.

OK, so this is the cancelled Rhymefest & Kanye & Jimmy Kimmel show for Comedy Central called "Alligator Boots". Forget Kim Kardashian in a gold bikini, I want that "Baby in the Club" video right NOW! Now!Now!Now! WARNING: video contains foam rubber genitals.
"Some Selfrestraint" by Winnie Truong.
Quote: "While The Fringes refer to both ornamentation in both hairstyle and fashion, it also makes reference to a place in John Wyndham’s 1955 sci-fi novel “The Chrysalids” of a forbidden territory occupied by outcasts and mutants at edge of society, where physical deviations are known as “blasphemies”. Winnie continues to examine hair as an extension of character in the portrait and the anonymous body to Winnie conjures the dejection, isolation and strange allure of this imaginary place, telling the story of what occurs when these faces dare to exist at the fringe of beauty, fashion, and biological possibility."

Trash Talk are releasing their New EP "Awake" on 10/11. This is the video for the title track and features skateboarding, politics; homeless people, rich white women by the pool and lots of wrecking stuff. They are without a doubt the band I have listened to the most in 2011.
Also, they remind me of the following parable: the Buddha is approached by one of his pupils, who asks him:
"Master, are you a God?"
The Buddha answers "No."
The pupil then asks:
"Master, are you a man?"
Again, the Buddha answers: "No."
"But Master," says the confused pupil, "what are you, if you are neither a man, nor a God?"
To this the Buddha answers:
"I am awake."
Now picture the Buddha putting his hoodie up and skating away doing a massive grinder from the top of the steps of the Temple, all the way down to the valley. Now you get it.
