In a world where even the best of streetwear & skate brands are having trouble staying relevant, after having been devoured by the industry wearing and styling these clothes completely out of context (which was originally the streets’ own game, so no foul), it’s good to see our favourites from the ‘Dam still coming out on top.
Patta Fall Winter 2016 is a collection that combines the greatest of jackets and coats with the flyest of sweatpants, crewnecks, hoodies, shirts, caps and bags.
Just two days ago, I was watching a show I used to love as a kid and was reminded of a dope fleece shirt my big brother used to wear -I even think it was some kind of rust colour as well- and I was thinking: “man, that was a great shirt.”
And blam, there goes Patta, like: way ahead of you, sis.
You know what happens when you got an incredible visual artist like Vincent van de Waalas a creative director?
Your colour palette is deeper. Subtler. More correct.
The first selections from the collection will launch in store and online at Patta this Friday, August 19 and will also roll out at official Patta retailers worldwide in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned also for the opening of the brand new Patta store in London.
I absolutely adore and support what is going on overall, here, Gee, Edson & Vincent.
