H&M Studio is getting the colette treatment for AW17 so the streets are about to get a whole lot more chouette. A total of nine pieces were either adapted or uniquely created to form a limited range of designs including hand-painted graffiti prints, the A-line ‘Julie’ cape in wool and nylon, a ruffled chiffon dress, frayed jacquard and a distressed leather mini inspired by the city of New York.
In line with colette’s longstanding tradition of limited collaborations, the pieces will feature pops of colette blue and will be available as from August 21 exclusively in-store and online at colette Paris for two weeks, alongside a pre-release of H&M Studio designs. Prices will range from €40 to €200. Accompanying the collection, colette co-founder Sarah Andelman mentioned going for “that combination of striking yet wearable, and of course, be completely au courant.” Pair this with a bit of that colette Balenciaga and you can go ahead and claim the iconic concept store’s signature blue as the mood for life.
