Beyoncé hopped on Colombian artist J Balvin's "Mi Gente" remix and suddenly skins have collectively cleared up and everybody learned Spanish overnight. Most importantly, Bey is donating proceeds from the single to natural disaster relief charities benefiting Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Caribbean Islands.
With Beyoncé adding fuego verses in both English ("If you really love me make an album 'bout me") and Spanish ("Yo soy la reina de los nenes" - I am the queen of the children) the track is actually a remix of a remix of French artist Willy William's "Voodoo Song".
