Marshmello did it first, but Cactus Jack (puns ahead!) changed the game by not having a singular event but a whole tour, giving players several opportunities to turn on, tune in and rage out. The visuals of the events themselves are pretty mind-blowing, as are the sales numbers of the exclusive Travis Scott Fortnite merch, to be purchased and used by players inside the game. (Virtual product, real panini.) There’s also merch for us meat world dwellers, including an action figurine and KAWS-designed THE SCOTTS vinyls and cassettes. THE SCOTTS is a supergroup of Travis Scott and Kid Cudi, formed for the occasion, who also dropped a video based on the Fortnite Astronomical tour visuals.
