In “Nudge It“ , Sleaford Mods point a stiff finger (or two) at artists taking on working class airs because they think it gives them some kind of edge, with no intention of taking part in the actual struggle or having lived through the stories they use as virtue signalling props. (Presumably it’s also a swing at IDLES.) It’s a bit like ‘Common People’ but with an angry beat. Amy Taylor from Amyl and the Sniffers is a perfect fit for the bonus bars: do yourself a favour and watch “Gacked on Anger” after watching this.
