We would like to nominate the lyric “Siri, can you tell me where I belong?” in the category “most heartbreaking phrases of 2021”, please. “Blenda” is a perfect example of the way Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul manage to dance on a knife’s edge between catchy pop compositions and an uncompromising gaze at the state of the world today. Totally unique, totally necessary, totally addictive.
