Yesterday KNOTORYUS was invited to the Raf Simons A/W 13-14 fashion show at Paris Fashion Week...
It was Kanye-left-his-babymomma-side-to-be-there-exclusive. He rode in and out in a matte black Porsche. I didn't know he was in it when I saw it rolling up. All I remember thinking was: "That is such a Yeezy car."
But: it was all about Raf Simons and for Raf Simons come fall it is all about collars: high turtle necks, exaggerated point-collar shirts, and knotted collars framing the fresh-looking manga-haired models' faces.
The jackets (some of them sleeveless) nodded towards an A-line. Pants were of the baggier variety and came in happy colors like a vibrant blue, a deep burgundy or a clear mustard. There were all-over "puss-in-boots" and heads shouting "vote" -prints.
The models also donned pieces of Raf's collaborations with Adidas and Eastpak.

You know how at the beginning of a new year you can feel anxious and doubtful about your readiness to go at it again?
Sitting in my 2nd row seat (there were only 2) watching the gorgeous Raf Simons F/W 13-14 show in the presence of the hip hop and fashion elite + a lot of hot Asian dudes wiped those fears away.
I think we got this.
