"I am Eddie Huang, host "Fresh Off The Boat", I am the writer of the memoir "Fresh Off The Boat", I am the owner and Chef at Baohaus the and all-around wild boy."
Since I first stumbled upon Eddie Huang a couple of years ago, I have been wanting to return to New York solely for the purpose of eating at Baohaus. No seriously, where else could you go eat where the in-house playlist is described as : "a lot of Dipset, Clipse, Young Jeezy, ..." ?
So, apparently this kid churned out a memoir which inspired Pharrell Williams' "I AM OTHER"-platform to interview him for its Others by Hypebeast segment.
Eddie : "[My book] is about someone who is the other and is outkast and is shedding their identitiy and the stigma that people attach to him to reclaim it on his own terms."
One of the wisdoms in this clip : "Yeah sure, shit has been done. But it hasn't been done by you."

Also : do yourself a favour and watch an episode of "Fresh Off The Boat" real quick. It'll take you about 7 1/2 minutes and it will put you in a good mood, I swear.
