So V2 sent us the new Black Francis album 'Bluefinger' last week and I've been listening to it non-stop. I've never been that much of a fan of his solo work, but as our colleagues at Stool Pigeon pointed out: this album is just fuckin' awesome. The entire cd is a tribute to Dutch artist Herman Brood (a favourite of Knotoryus Dee, by the way...His biography by Bart Chabot comes highly recommended).
It's not out until september, but you can watch several retro-style videos of the tracks right here.
