It's all very well to be the only one on your block walking on Parra sneakers, blasting the Chanel soundtrack through your iPhone earbuds while showing off your ltd. edition shirt by some guy with photoshop and a blog. But sometimes, it's time stock up on fresh karma rather than fresh gear. KNOTORYUS is all about paying it forward. Especially if it involves a giant phone.
Tomorrow (saturday), 300 youngsters will be setting up camp in front of a big ol' train station to support Mobile School, a project set up to help street kids get a proper education.
Participants will be able to make free calls from a giant phone, designed by Ello Mobile. Every call or text message people send from that phone adds to the funds donated to Mobile School. KNOTORYUS is proud to support this valiant effort by supplying some Dutch copy.
What we did: copy for the flyer handed out to all participants (see above) and the slogan for the giant phone:
BEL DE WERELD WAKKER
(or, roughly translated: A WAKE-UP CALL FOR THE WORLD)
You can drop by tomorrow, the action starts at 10. Or tune in to Studio Brussel tomorrow night for a live report.
