Dover Street Market NY x Nike Air Python. I'll be in London a few days after these drop (21st December) and the original Dover Street Market is always always always on my list, but I have no idea whether this pair will be available in NY only.
Closer to home and first up on the calendar, though: A Cut Above will be available at Hunting and Collecting in Brussels this weekendonly. I tried on the 'Team' jacket at their previous pop-up store in Antwerp and fuck me if it didn't fit like a dream. Every man should have a destroyer design in his wardrobe and ACA manages to make a real difference in the exact cut and lush quality fabric. If you're in the neighboorhood, try one on for yourself or why not come to the party this Friday? Nosedrip will be playing. Nosedrip is awesome.
OK, so we have New York, London, Brussels ... what do we need from L.A.?
The second collection from up-and-comers 'Fear Of God' owes its aesthetic to a mixture of punk and grunge. This greyscale jersey T-shirt is, again, just right.
It doesn't all have to be black-on-black-on-black with a shaved (and preferably scarred) scalp to match, though.
I love this 'Toad Burger' sweater by MSGMin collaboration with Toilet Paper Magazine (originally created by Maurizio Catellan).
(also available at Smets in Brussels)
I'm a sucker for white staple sneakers and I'm about to give in to these Converse Jack Purcell Canvas Sneakers.
I love the fact that there's no logo on the tongue (a pet peeve of mine when it comes to sneakers). The 'smile' at the tip sets it apart. Get 'em at Mr. Porter for only €70.
Now that we're walking on white canvas, whistling 'Mr. Blue Skies', let's shoulder up this Mulberry Clipper. Yes, I am aware of the fact that it is very blue.
Back to black, then. This "Silent by Damir Doma" black leather bomber jacket is just too perfect. Check out REWIND STORE B.L.C.K in Ghent. They carry a great DD selection.
And the last one on the list:
