Exclusive : KNOTORYUS #Faveboys Talk to Lofty 305 Before His Art Show at Lockwood / Avenue

Less than a week from now, ON MAY 24TH, Miami bred artist Lofty 305 - part of Metro Zu- who has been safely stashed away inside the LOCKWOOD/AVENUE headquarters for a month, will host a super exclusive Art Show in Antwerp.

Here we go :

Q : You think people will ever live in space?

Lofty : That is a great question. I think people already live in space and also, I am going to live in space starting 2030 if I get picked for the raffle for Mars or if I get rich as fuck in case I want to buy whatever I want : a space shuttle, munchies for outer space, space kush, ...

Q : If you could pick any time in the past to live in which time would you choose?

Lofty : I want to be in the past where all the technology that they are slowly giving back to us now, was on point. You know, like Atlantis days. But not Atlantis per se, 'cause I don't know if that was real. But I believe there really were hovercrafts and planes, and that they ran on organic energy. I want to be at the organic pinnacle time, where they were flexin' on that shit, you know and fucking building pyramids and whatnot. That time.

Q : If you would give a class in Pimpology, what is the first thing you would teach?

Lofty : I'd teach that whatever you want to learn, whatever knowledge you want to have in life, you are not going to learn it in a class room. So get the fuck out and get in the streets and learn that shit for yourself. It's the only way you will learn, by just doing it.

Q : What is the goal you need to reach to complete your quest in Europe and return to Miami?

Lofty : I just have to buy a plane ticket. But my quest will never end. It will never be complete. A quest has no beginning and no end. We are all on a quest and we are never going to reach the end. No matter where the fuck we go. Because whenever I am back in Miami, it's not like "oh man, what a complete 100% fulfilled journey." No, it's like : where am I going next? There's always something. Whether I am going to outer space in my own mind and taking pictures of all these aliens and drawing them, that's a quest. Every time I make a painting, it's a quest.
