Ok, so that might not be the best pic ever...
Remember this post?
They are still great shades.
I saw them at Dover Street Market two months ago.
Unfortunately, we had spent all our money on a celebratory dinner at Gordon Ramsay (at Royal Hospital Road - the original restaurant) the night before.
I now realize I didn't report back about that one : we booked for three courses and we got seven.
With compliments.
The food was like redemption.
If you were there that night, you probably remember a good looking but fairly annoying couple going "mmh", "omfg", "wooh! wou wneed two twy twis!" and "omfg, omfg, omfg."
This particular night the place was filled with snooty youth à la Gossip Girl. "Just because he is my grandfather, he does not have the right to tell me what to do. And that is why I left and took the car with me. I don't care if he had to wait. Now drop it mother, or I will cause a scene."
But the Maître D (What's up Jean-Claude!) was one of the coolest people ever. Made us feel right at home. And the youngest waiter popped the right jokes at the right time. Made us laugh.
It was simply the best dinner I ever had.
And if I remember clearly, the Maison Martin Margiela shades cost about as much.
So either the dinner was cheap or the shades are on the expensive tip.
Whatever makes you happy or horny, I say!
