Not only did the folks at the Affordable Art Fair invite us to preview the 3rd edition of this annual feat, they also asked us to put a 'KNOTORYUS loves' sticker on the pieces we dug the most.
I have to say I was kind of worried that we weren't going to like anything. I'm sorry, but I have zero patience for the whole arts and crafts "look I stuck the burnt head of a barbie doll on a canvas!" "And? What do you mean 'And?'. That's it!"-thing.
Although in no way do I want to dismiss nor make fun of Piet Huysentruyt's EPIC entry into the contemporary art world.
Back to the AAF. We came, we saw, we stuck our 'KNOTORYUS loves' stickers on works by a.o. Michaël Borremans and ended up buying a brand new and pretty iconic (not pictured) Neckface piece.
