Seventeen contemporary artists have taken over the gardens at the iconic Château de Versailles for the winter expo "Voyage d'hiver". Ugo Rondinone, John Giorno and Sheila Hicks are among those involved, but Rick Owens immediately stands out in the line-up. Owens wrapped a few statues in the Queen’s Grove in that typical protective winter tarpaulin, but the pieces are draped in such an artful way they find a new identity through their cover-up. Pretty fantastic.
You can visit the Versailles "Voyage d’hiver” installations until January 17 2018.
