Unstoppable glitter enthusiast designer and fashion activist Ashish Gupta of London label Ashish has collaborated with River Island Design Forum and you’ll be able to get your piece of sparkle pie on Thursday September 21. As announced earlier this year, the 15-piece collection is completely agender, which is a first for River Island’s own collaboration series.
A new campaign shot by Dutch photography duo Meinke Klein adds new dimension to the collection in a series of intimate stories portrayed by Dutch-Australian model Suzi “Siouxsie” Leenaars and McQueen stunner model/artist King Owusu. The collection is centred around dreamy comfortwear with a few obvious moments of shine, contrasted by the designer's signature dark quotes (which we got some more of at the goth glam Ashish SS18 show last night).
There’s even more Ashish to be had this week, as you can get tickets for a London Fashion Week panel talk called “Celebrating Positive Fashion: Ashish and Tamsin Blanchard” on September 21 here.
Ashish x River Island will be launching online on September 21. Items will be for sale on riverisland.com exclusively and prices will range from £30 to £180.
