Freddy ‘Vjeze Fur’ Tratlehner and Perre van den Brink of TRATLEHNER have shared their SS18 collection and it’s literally super wavy. Along with #bigmood scowling-in-paradise campaign images shot by trusty collaborator Elza Jo in the Caribbean, the new collection is a fresh catch of interesting pieces soaked in marine life inspiration. We’re talking all-over fish scale prints, embroidered patches of sun-faded nautical flags and a particular standout: the satin sublimation prints of the are-these-things-real-I-can’t-deal yeti crab.
The collection’s story goes as following: a party yacht went down before a desolate island and as the stranded passengers waited for help, they patched up their outfits and gawked amusedly at the ocean’s creatures as the sun softly bleached their clothing.
Soft peach tones find contrast in black, stone grey, khaki and burnt orange hues infusing everything from a technical fabric logo tracksuit or a hoodie with big chenille TRATLEHNER icon patch to oversized boxy tees. Comfort reigns in each item but there’s no mistaking your sharp eye and support for the good ones when you're spotted out in these. Think quick, this piece is already sold out online.
Visit their online store here. In Belgium, TRATLEHNER is stocked at Avenue SneakerStore in Antwerp. In The Netherlands, find TRATLEHNER at Baskèts Jordaan Amsterdam, Concrete Amsterdam & The Hague, Margreeth Olsthoorn in Rotterdam and Calico Jack in Venlo.
