The unsurpassable Freddy Tratlehner/Vjeze Fur and Perre van den Brink of TRATLEHNER are coming back at you for winter, lithely hopping from strength to strength. In a first look at the brand’s newly-released AW17 collection, the richness of it all stands out instantly. Till the pair opens up a food joint, as they mused about in our KNOTORYUS talk earlier this year, we won’t be starving for anything good. Deep, sumptuous colours like a syrah red and golden ochre are paired with textures and delicate embroideries that you just really want to run your hand over. Catch everybody wearing TRATLEHNER in these winter streets, literally feeling themselves.
The TRATLEHNER AW17 collection offers an array of smooth comfort. Chenille appliqué patches of the stellar OR Type-designed TRATLEHNER logo work alongside high collars and sublimation prints of tiles and Bauhaus patterns. There’s a traditional Scottish waxed cotton coat that uses its translucency on the back to feature a word logo.
The use of embroidery adds extra dimension to heavy cotton t-shirts, while basic tees get details such as split hems and Concorde jet shaping. There’s also an update of the architectural mesh tops TRATLEHNER introduced last season. All that’s left to add is the look in this little girl’s eyes:
She knows.
TRATLEHNER AW17 is available for purchase online now. There’s already one item sold out, so don’t sleep. Prices range from €60 for a t-shirt to €350 for a coat.
In Belgium, TRATLEHNER is stocked at Avenue SneakerStore in Antwerp. In The Netherlands, find your TRATLEHNER at Concrete in Amsterdam & The Hague, Margreeth Olsthoorn in Rotterdam and Calico Jack in Venlo.
