At the end of 2019, Woodie Smalls the Belgian hip hop star with the international appeal (songs featured on NBA 2K18 soundtrack, opened shows for Mobb Deep, Nas & Rae Sremmurd) released ‘Bad’, a track featuring that other staggering homegrown-talent-bound-to-take-over-the-world, Coely. The two of them are now appearing side by side in a brand new video for the song, which shows a much appreciated vulnerable side to Woodie. Coely meanwhile aims some berating lyrics at all fuccpeople (it’s a non-gender-specific disease), looking like a stunning satin & leather clad phoenix rising from the flames. Great track and video.
Watch the visual directed by Johan Verhoeven/Eye Society below and look out for both artists’ new work in 2020.
