Here's a little known fact: Bruno Pieters popped my cherry.
He was the first designer I ever interviewed. The year: 2001. He was a first-timer, too: launching his first official collection in Paris. It was gentle and memorable. We shared a cigarette. Since then, Mr. Pieters famously went on to become artistic director for Hugo Boss. When he announced his departure from that fashion giant a month ago, people were all like: 'It's an end if on era!'. Very true. Every end of an era should have a sample sale, don't you think? Europe's new best shop RA 13 will be organising an exclusive sample sale of Bruno Pieters catwalk pieces. Proceeds of the sale go to charity. If you can't make it to Antwerp (you should, though... The shop looks amazing.), you can always buy the pieces online at the RA 13 site.
